We were contacted, through the Innoweave project, to provide cloud-based services to Taking Root. There project consisted of moving local Excel spreadsheet data into a live modifiable database system. This included counselling around best-use practices, workflow, migration of data and modifications to infrastructure.
It was a challenging, interesting, and creative to partner with Taking Root to accomplish. We are happy to announce that this system is now live and allowing local farmers and organizations to properly track the progress of plantings to determine their progress, and allow Taking Root to further track their project. We provided an extensive set of documentation, training on migration of data, counselling, and additional problem-solving solutions during the process.
