The Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) is the national organization representing midwives and the profession of midwifery in Canada. The vision of the Canadian Association of Midwives is that midwifery is fundamental to maternal and newborn health services, and that everyone in Canada will have access to a midwife’s care for themselves and their baby.
CAM received a generous fund from the Innoweave project, which helped us to provide consultation on tools they could use and improvements on their existing cloud computing system. This work was extremely interesting as the needs of each working group were varied and relied heavily on a more usability analysis to determine how solutions could be implemented to deal with the varying degree of beginner to power user needs. We are providing them:
- Analysis of present cloud services through worker consultations
- Determine appropriate cloud-based solutions for varying group workflows
- Integration of solutions, including testing and modification work various working groups
- Development of policies to increase usefulness and cloud-based file sharing
- Training and support
We are proud to continue to support this important organization in their work around Canada and internationally.
